Our Story

Annie’s Garden unfolded slowly, like petals opening to the sun. For over two decades, I had worked as a photographer, but deep inside, I felt a calling for something new. On my morning walks, I would ask the universe: What inspires me? What brings me joy? The answer whispered back—birds.

At first, I wasn’t sure how this love could take shape. There were already many photographers capturing birds in fine art. So, I kept asking. Day by day, piece by piece, the universe revealed more: Incorporate colour therapy. Use trees, flowers, and herbs. Bring together their frequencies and spiritual meanings to create something deeper—a visual prayer.

The idea was there but it felt too big to grasp all at once. So, I decided to begin where I could—with something small yet meaningful: gift cards. A way to share this visual vibration and dip my toes into the journey ahead.

And then came the magic.

My Aunty Nette, who always wanted to be called Annie and who had passed away a few years earlier, was a gifted florist—creative, always in her garden, and my greatest cheerleader. On these walks, I would ask her: Is this the right path? Will this work?

One morning, after returning home from one of those walks, I found a torn page sitting on my kitchen counter. It was from an old notebook I had inherited from her after she passed. On that page, in her handwriting, were the words:

“Annie’s Garden.”

I hadn’t torn that page out. I hadn’t placed it there. Yet, there it was—waiting for me.

At that moment, I knew. This was the answer I had been asking for.

And so Annie’s Garden was created. For me it's more than a brand; it’s a calling, a legacy, and a reminder that I am guided every step of the way.
